Although no longer practicing law, The Advisory Group’s founder, Duncan Card, will continue to assist organizations, governmental agencies, multinational and domestic companies, as well as their Boards of Directors and executive managers, to navigate their way through the increasing complex labyrinth of Governmental oversight, regulation and governance obligations across all aspects of operational risk related to technology, privacy and data protection, outsourcing, and the emerging onerous demands of operational resilience and AI development and deployment.
Duncan now focuses on the practical business management and commercial aspects of the fields of expertise that he previously addressed merely as legal counsel. As discussed herein, The Advisory Group now assists its clients with solving compliance problems and resolving uncertainties, and assisting clients with forging and implementing workable operations solutions to reduce the complexity of regulatory compliance. We work to bring clarity and operationally compliant solutions to clients across the often overlapping ( if not conflicting ) areas of cybersecurity governance and regulatory demands, IT risk management, third-party services and outsourcing transactions, digital transformation projects, AI development and services procurement, the emerging field of operational resilience, and assured privacy compliance.
